Just In!!  National Association  Polytechnic of Students Calls For A peaceful Protest Today On School Resumption

The Student Umbrella Covering the affairs of polytechnic students in Nigeria have called on all its members across the country to embark on a peaceful protest today to enable the government know their intention on school resumption. Recall that NAPS and other student bodies in a general meeting held last two weeks gave the government 14 days to resolve issues surrounding school resumption or face nation wide protest.

Reacting to the matter, the national President of National Association of polytechnic students said that they is no way markets, religious centres, parks and vehicles, inter state movement etc will be operating successfully and only school will remain locked down when school is safer than market and religious centres.

The protest is slated to hold in Ibadan the OYo state capital today 1st of August, 2020 by 9:00 am and the protest is tagged as a very peaceful protest.

The title of the protest is tagged ” Covid 19 is not a death sentence, many have been cured and discharged, resume school ”
