ABSU RECORDS SEVEN (7) FIRST CLASS AT THE 2023 NIGERIAN LAW SCHOOL, EXCELS IN NURSING AND OPTOMETRY EXTERNAL EXAMINATIONS

Abia State University has continued its impressive performances in National and International competitive examinations by recording seven (7) First Class at the 2023 Bar examinations of the Nigerian Law School, Abuja.

In the result just released, the following graduates of Abia State University emerged with First Class:

1. Oluomachi Blessing Agbazuere , the best graduating student at the last convocation ceremony of the University, also with a First Class
2. Ukpabi, Success
3. Eme, Ekeoma Marvellous
4. Achilihu, Victoria
5. Christian, Stella Nwaoma
6. Excel Great Chuks-Agwuh
7. Cosmas Deborah

It will be recalled that Abia State University has since its inception, maintained its pride of place in the comity of Universities in Nigeria, especially at the Nigerian Law School examinations.

This result is coming at the heels of the exploits of the graduating Nurses of the University who scored 95.14% in the Nursing and Midwifery Council examination and 97.14% in the Public Health Nursing Council examination.

Similarly, students of Optometry of the University scored 99% at the just released result of the Nigerian Optometric and Dispensing Opticians Registration Board of Nigeria examination.

The Vice-Chancellor, Distinguished Professor Onyemachi M. Ogbulu, congratulates the students for making the University and Abia State proud, in line with the motto of the University anchored on Excellence and Service.

He commended the Executive Governor of Abia State and Visitor to the University, His Excellency Dr. Alex Chioma Otti, OFR for pragmatic leadership and providing conducive environment for teaching, learning and research in the University, without which these successes may not have been possible.
