The Transition Committee Chairman Isuikwuato local government area, Dr Osita Igbe, has congratulated members of Peoples Democratic Party, Isuikwuato local government area, for a successful Ward Congresses in different parts of the local government area, describing the outcome as the demonstration of internal democracy that usually characterized the activities of the party in the area.

Addressing newsmen in his office at Mbalano, shortly after monitoring the conduct of the ward Congresses in some wards of the council in both Uturu and Isuikwuato blocs, Dr Osita Igbe who asserted that he has been in politics for over twenty years now, and had never witnessed such a peaceful Ward Congresses which he described as the finest in Isuikwuato local government area in the recent times, as it was rancour free and harmonious exercise which reflected the choice of all the party stakeholders and members.

Dr Osita Igbe while congratulating the PDP ward Officer for emerging victorious in the Congresses, also thanked the party stakeholders and members of Peoples Democratic Party for adopting harmonization procedure for the ward Congresses where party officers were chosen base on their individual merits, and level of commitments for party, adding that he is very optimistic that the crop of elected ward Officers are capable of leading the to victory in both the proposed local government area elections and the forthcoming 2023 general elections.

The Council Boss further applauded the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, and the the Security agencies in the council for partnering with the party through monitoring, assistance, and guide, which guaranteed peace, harmony, credible, and acceptable results of the ward Congresses, urging them to sustain their efforts in being proactive to their responsibilities.
