Some parts of the popular Balogun Market, located on Lagos Island, have been gutted by fire.
Newsmirrorng gathered that marketers at Balogun market, Lagos Island, who came in, Thursday morning, with the hope of a promising day in anticipation of the festive season sales were heartbroken seeing their shops and goods worth millions of naira burnt to ashes.
The cause of the fire is unknown at the time of filing this report.
