Nigeria’s Labour Party has named Doyin Okupe as the Vice Presidential candidate to the party’s flag bearer Peter Obi, but in a placeholder capacity to beat the Friday deadline set by INEC.
The statement means that a VP hasn’t been found yet but Dr Doyin will stay in the place of the VP so that the deadline will be met until a VP is found to replace him. Consultations are still on going.
