As Abians at home and in the diaspora jubilate over Governor Okezie Ikpeazu’s victory at the Abia State Governorship Election Petition Tribunal (EPT),Director General,Abia State Orientation Agency (ABSOA) Hon.Godwin Adindu has urged his ward leaders and ndi Abia at large to keep suporting the people-centred Governor.
Adressing party supporters at Obingwa Ward 6,the former Chief Press Secretary (CPS) to the Governor thanked his people for supporting
Dr Okezie Ikpeazu since his first election in 2015.
He said Ikpeazu’s victory at the Abia EPT has again shown he was,without any iota of doubts,massively elected at the March 2019 election. And that his mandate is sacrosanct !
Hon.Adindu used the occassion to advise Ikpeazu’s defeated political opponents to avail themselves of the window of includion and olive branch the extended to them.This,the respected journalist and prolific writer,said would be in the over all interest and progress of the state.
In their separate speeches,former Commissioner for Rural Development and Strategy,Hon.Ezinwa Nkire Abiri and one-time Chairman of Obingwa Local Government Hon.Ben Nwankpa also mobilized support for the Governor.They said Ikpeazu is the best thing to happen to Abia State.
“Dr Ikpeazu has shown unparalled competence in governance.
Though the challenges are quite enormous,I’m confident he will
deliver more dividends of democracy to our people,having already
done much for ndi Abia “,Hon.Abiri said.
For Hon.Nwamkpa,the appointment of Hon.Adindu as DG
is an indication of the Governor’s love for ward 6 and Obingwa
at large.He thanked Adindu for hosting party faithful to celebrate
the reaffirmation of his boss’ victory.
Hon.Godwin Adindu was the first CPS to the Governor of Abia State.Now back on the saddle as pioneer Director General of Abia State Orientation Agency,he staged a party Saturday,September 21,2019,at his ancestral Umunwaezi,Obingwa abode to celebrate Ikpeazu’s victory at the Abia State EPT.In attendance were political leaders of Obingwa ward 6 extraction and select political associates.
