Veteran Journalist Mohammed Hamisu Rogo of the NTA international has stated that Abia state is blessed with abundant Tourism Centers.
Hamisu Rogo disclosed this during his visit to Abia state. Speaking during the visitation, the award winning Journalist said that the tourist centers if properly harnessed will be able to contribute meaningful to the internally generated revenue of the state and as well help in the provision of employment opportunities.
In her remark, Senior Special Assistant to Governor on Tourism and Entertainment Queen Jackie Atuloma thanked NTA tourism correspondent for making out time to visit Abia despite his tight schedule and further appreciated Governor Okezie Ikpeazu for his unflinching Support in making truly number one in tourism. Queen Atuloma also appreciated the Curator of National War museum umuahia and Ojukwu bunker for taking us around the two tourist sights.
She reteriated that so far two tourist sight have been visited and evaluated while others will follow subsequently. She further made a Clarion Call to investors and corporate Organizations to facilitate the uplighting of Abia State Tourist Sight
