Abia State Governor, Dr Okezie Ikpeazu, has appointed Honorable Tony Mezie Nwubani as Special Adviser on Legislative Matters.
In a release by the Honourable Commissioner for Information, Honorable Nwubani hails from Umunteke Asa in Ukwa West LGA and was the immediate past Chief Whip of the Abia State House of Assembly where he represented Ukwa West State Constituency from 2011 to 2019.
He had also served as a Councilor in Ukwa West LGA. He returns a familiar terrain and will bring to bear his Legislative experience to interface between the Governor and the State House of Assembly.
The Governor wishes him success in his new assignment.
