The coincidence of these resignations of supposed PDP heavy weights is just a drama orchestrated to cause panic unnecessarily which exposes a devilish plan to innervate a whirlwind of resignations under a false premise that the party has become decrepit and collapsed afterwards.
These dramatis personae have brought alot of questioning to their integrity and further highlights the roles they played against the party in the last elections.
This failed ambush against the party by supposed stalwarts shows the abysmal level people can descend to betray their puerile ambitiousness, egocentricity and delinquent misdemeanor.
For a people that achieved political stardom on a particular platform to suddenly set the stage for the destruction of same platform clearly calls for a taxanomical re-classification of this genre of Homo sapiens for easy identification given their bizarre socio-political idiosyncrasies.
These primus inter pares whose whims and caprices dictated the pace and unbalanced the pendulum against thousands of people with whom they ought to share common patrimony.
Those that had the rights of first refusal in every benefits that accrued to the party.
Those whose ignominious antecedents and activities were the vexatious catalysts that pitched the masses against party.
Those tickets bearers with phantom popularity that diminished the electoral prospects of the party and became the party’s albatross.
Those nocturnal politicians that actively engaged the opposition at night and deceitfully regaled in PDP apparels in the day were those that set in motion the destructive glitches against the party.
Those whose
actions should have evoked the sobriety that should put them in the forefront to rebuild the party in order to assuage the innocent ones that worked sincerely for the party.
Those that became the negative face of PDP who discretely diverted millions of funds meant for election to private accounts when the common people went to the war front unarmed.
How desperate and self conceited can a people be!
No sooner had one of them debunked the news of his decampment than he sent his resignation letter yesterday in contradiction to his earlier rebuttal. Such a volte face to me is as ridiculous as his earlier rebuttal and does not portray such as worthy of trust going forward.
Your reasons for decampment evocks a sense of both mischief and satire. I have listened to all of them and observed one central thing. You were all schemed out according to you and I ask, who schemed who out? You forgot when you were schemed in and others were schemed out because of you. You forgot when you held vantage political positions when others patiently waited. And I ask, what is it about you that makes you think your interest is all that matters and should be placed ahead of everything else? What is that potential that intrinsically stands you out? Alot of people have not had opportunities for their potentials to be harnessed because your constant occupation of these positions robbed them of that. But today, to your utmost chagrin, you have unabashedly resigned your membership of your party on account of such flimsy excuse, a clear subterfuge for your selfishness and and lack of the privileged virtue of perseverance.
On your honor, you should have resigned your membership long ago when you experienced this political trauma. Why wait for PDP to loose election before you remember your mistreatment as a man of intergrity? Some of you ranting in the public space actively destroyed the party through several ways you hobnobbed with the opposition. You worked for the opposition in National Assembly elections and set the stage for the eventual annihilation of the party. None of you could deliver his unit in that election. What value are you then transporting to you new found love? I call on the leadership of APC or whichever party you decide to join to demand for your unit results as a veritable proof of what you claim to be.
I expected a mass following of your loyalists heralding these resignations in sympathetic response but am surprised it is only about you. How can that be? Does it mean you didn’t consult with your followers or they refused to follow you? As a big fish, not less than 1,000 persons cut across your structure, loyalist and those in same school of thought ought to have decamped with you. Maybe it ll happen in the coming phase.
When wind blows away the roof of your house due to architectural negligence, will you sit back and rebuild your house after identifying the root cause or pack your things to your neighbour’s place abandoning your property?
Our great party is surely undergoing a rebirth, reorientation and repositioning through this ongoing internal mechanism of self cleansing which has been set in motion.
