What makes us proud and satisfied individuals are the lasting legacies we have and keep for ourselves.
Going by this assertion, one name rings bell in the hearts of men of Goodwill and he is Hon. Israel Amanze, the current Program Manager Abia Agricultural Development Program (ADP).
This pathfinder who is always silent with his achievements has once again trailblazed the Mbutu Ngwa Water difficulties.
The Philanthropist has once again attracted a gigantic state of the art and ultra modern water borehole and a Skill Acquisition Centre to his community situated at Ahia-Afor Market Square Amankwo Mbutu.
According to the verified records made available, the total cost of the project is almost Ten Million Naira (N10 million).
As we are all aware, in such a project there must be a counterpart fund to portray the seriousness of the recipient and also propel the donors to fast-track the project. It is worth to note that Hon. Amanze in his magnanimity, single-handed paid the counterpart fund without hyping and causing unnecessary tension in the community.
We should recall that the quintessential Leader attracted the humanitarian project in about thirteen different locations in Isiala Ngwa South.
Recall that the quintessential Leader have attracted a similar project over ten years ago. Then it was the gigantic Mbutu Ngwa Electricity Project, a project that distributed low tension electricity to the 9 villages in Mbutu Amaiteghite.
To realize this project Chief Amanze had to organize and form the famous Mbutu Town Union. Through this instrumentality, Chief Amanze paid the counterpart fund and realized 129 poles long project under the Mbutu Town Union. That project is worth over N70m at current estimates. Noteable Mbutu Ngwa sons like Nze G.M. Amanze, Pastor Nwaigwe, Isaac Nwobilor and others served in the implementation committees of this great project.
It is very imperative to note that this publication and research is conducted without the knowledge of the Hon. Israel Amanze who am aware doesn’t like to hype his achievements which he says are for the betterment of humanity.
