The Management of Abia State Polytechnic Aba, has concluded plans to establish the Abia Polytechnic Business School and an International Academy.
These were made public by the Rector of the school, Prof. Hagler Okorie during the combined convocation ceremonies at the school pavilion Aba, Abia state
Prof. Okorie while giving an insight of the Business school said it will provide teaching and learning to Aba Industrialists, business men, artisans, and others in need of certification of their trade
Apart from the Business school, the Rector also revealed that the school is set to establish Abia Polytechnic International school, which will comprise of Creché, Pre – Nursery, Nursery and Primary School for now with the aim of upgrading to a Secondary school in future. ” We have entered into partnership with a private investor, Okorie added”.
Prof. Okorie called on stakeholders, pleading that synergy is needed to drive all the good plans laid out for the development and growth of the school while calling on them for partnership for hostels, health care facilities, laboratories, hospitality and Tourism blocks at the new site at Umuarakpa, Osisioma Ngwa LGA.
