Senator Nkechi Nwaogu PhD CON Ugonwanyi ndi Igbo has expressed shocked over the demise of Chief Mrs Victoria Aguiyi Ironsi, the wife of the first Nigeria Military Head of State, General James Thomas Umunnakwe Aguiyi Ironsi at a time her elderly advise is needed most.
Senator Nkechi Nwaogu, in an emotional Press release today in Abuja said that Mrs Victoria Aguiyi Ironsi was instrumental and played an important role towards her success story. Ihie Abia reminisced the motherly role played by the matriarch which was consequential in her exploits in life. Senator Nwaogu reteriated that the enormous contributions made by the nonagenarian in the development of the country will remain evergreen in the minds of Nigerians. According to Senator Nwaogu, the death of Noble Lady Victoria Aguiyi Ironsi is a personal loss to her.
Senator Nkechi Nwaogu later prayed that God will grant Noble Lady Victoria Aguiyi Ironsi eternal rest and family, State and country the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss.
