The good people of Mbutu Ngwa, Umuacha and other neighboring communities have taken a breath of relief as their roads have been given first class grading/rehabilitation by Hon. Chief Israel Amanze ( Okeorji Abia) , Program Manager, Agricultural Development Program (ADP) Abia State.
The grading excecise sponsored by IZYBEST NIGERIA LTD was flagged off on Sat, Dec 13 by Rt. Hon. Darlington Nwokocha, member representing Isiala Ngwa North and South Fed. Constituency at the Green Chamber of the National Assembly who was ably represented by the Isiala Ngwa South PDP Chiarman, Sir Edwin Ihejirika, has continued to receive warmest commendations from road users as they discribe the standard of the job as ” THE BEST EVER SEEN”
Chief Amanze ( IZYBEST) when asked about his motivation for this project replied ” it is not born out of any political motivation rather I promise God that I will always use what He (God) has blessed me with to serve both Him and humanity”. He also thanked the Governor, Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu for finding him worthy to serve as the PM, Abia ADP.
Some of the areas covered so far include:
Ekeonyeugba—ahia nkwo market, Ekeonyeugba—Okpungwu junction—ahia afor market, Ukwu egbu transversing Amankwo old village Hall to Mbutu Ngwa primary school.
Others include: Umuokwor through Umuegbu Village linking Amaputa Community in Isiala Ngwa North.
The rest are: Catholic Church through Mbutu Ngwa Primary Sch (campus 2), matanity road, Umuosoala road, Umuezeoche road linking Cherubim junction by ENUGU-PHC Express Way.
The major Ekeonyeugba to Umuokwor road which is a local dual carriage way has also been completed.
Most exciting achievements in mbutu were rehabilitation of Ana Gbogbo and Ana Tooto bad spots.
On Tuesday Jan 4, 2022 the ovation was too high, the sun stood still in cheers, traders shut down in solidarity as the busy, popular but abandoned Nkwokpu Market Road which is the economic hub of Isiala Ngwa South LGA had it’s own turn. What a hope for the people!
