In a birthday message to the Speaker of the 7th Abia State House of Assembly, Prof Ikonne described Rt. Hon. Orji, as one who exhibits great courage and patriotism in the conduct of the affairs of Abia’s 7th Legislative Assembly.
The Abia governorship hopeful said he has carefully followed the antecedents of Rt. Hon Orji since his emergence as the Speaker, and he has consistently demonstrated exceptional capacity, unwavering patriotism, and abiding faith in the unity, peace, and progress of the state both in words and in action.
He stated that the House of Assembly under his distinguished leadership has been one that inspires hope for the ordinary Abian owing to his people-oriented disposition
