The Director (South East) Parliamentarian APC Presidential Campaign Council and Abia State Coordinator for Women, Tinubu/Shettima Women Presidential Campaign Council, Senator Nkechi Nwaogu has encouraged the Muslim Umma to use this period of Idel fitri to pray fervently for the peace, stability and development of Nigeria.
Nwaogu who disclosed this today in Abuja the Nations Capital saluted the purpose consistency, resilience and perseverance of the Muslim faithful throughout the Holy Month of Ramadan.
While congratulating them on the successful completion of the fast,she urged them to use the festival to give supplications to Almighty Allah for the stability and unity of the country.
We should recall that the Muslim Umma yesterday sighted the crescent for the month of Shawwal 1444 I’m Tumair and Sudair im the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia which symbolises the commencement of the feast of idel fitri
