Her name is ASP Maureen Chioma Chinaka. She was newly appointed Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Abia State Police Command. She took over from CSP Geoffrey Ogbonna who has held that position with so much pride and professionalism.
ASP Maureen Chioma is an Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP), and a distinguished Associate member of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR).
She obtained her first degree in Law from the Nigeria Police Academy, earning an LLB. She is currently pursuing a degree in Mass Communication to further enhance her expertise.
Throughout her career, she has undertaken various roles, displaying her versatility and competence in the field.
Her professional experience encompasses public prosecution, Public Relations, active involvement in human rights activities, as well as providing security and legal advice to the public when necessary.
Maureen’s proficiency in her profession is evident through her eloquence, extensive knowledge, and her ability to skillfully defend just causes. She recently authored a publication exploring the concept of Plea Bargain in the Nigerian litigation system, effectively enlightening the public through her writings.
Her dedication to professional growth is reflected in her participation in numerous security conferences, both locally and internationally. Through these engagements, she has accumulated a wealth of knowledge, further enriching her expertise.
