NCHETA OMEREKPE CELEBRATE CHRISTMAS WITH THE PHYSICALLY CHALLENGED, WIDOWS AND YOUTHS… SPLASH N10 MILLION !
Wild jubilation, tears of joy and indeed violent prayers heralded the 2019 Christmas season as Abia foremost Philanthropist, Ncheta Okoro Omerekpe popularly called OFOR NDI IGBO kicked off the activities marking the yuletide with humanitarian colouration.
His Umuakwu Nsulu, Isiala Ngwa North, LGA, Abia state country home was like a carnival as groups besieged the quiet community being turned into a small London, courtesy of Mr. Ncheta Omerekpe.
Not left out are members the Executives of Ehuma Consultative Forum (ECF), led by Chief Ned Ulelu and members of Ncheta Omerekpe Foundation ably led by Elder GOC Nnaji.
Addressing the crowd in session, Mr. Omerekpe thanked them for coming to his county home to celebrate this years Christmas, reminding them that there is ability in disability, therefore should not see their condition as an end, stressing that God has never and will not abandon them.
Mr. Ncheta Omerekpe encouraged the widows to respect the sanctity of marriage despite the condition they found themselves, saying that God in heaven has not and shall not forsake them if they put their trust in him.
While addressing the youths, Mr. Ncheta Okoro Omerekpe admonished them to shun any form of criminal activities and avoid get – rich – quick syndrome, drug abuse and always respect their elders.
He was full of praises for the members of Ncheta Omerekpe foundation and reminded them to always be in the forefront to display good behavior and show only the kind of character that would please God and engage in things that can only serve humanity and bring love to mankind.
The highlight of the occasion was the distribution of rice, and the sharing of N10 Million Naira to various groups. Mr. Omerekpe promised he would continue to render help to the needy in our society and advised the physically challenged, widows and the youths to come up with business proposal that would make them self – reliant and channel same through the foundation for evaluation and funding.
In their various responses, Chief Ned Ulelu, Leader of Ehuma Consultative Forum (ECF), Mrs. Gloria Nworgu, Leader of the Widows, Mr. Chibuike Uwaezuoke, Leader of the youths and Elder GOC Nnaji, the Director General, Ncheta Omerekpe Foundation thanked Mr. Omerekpe for his various philanthropist gestures in Ngwa Land and Abia in general, his special love for the needy in our society and prayed for God’s continuous favour, grace, blessings and protection while assuring of their ceaseless prayers.
