Former Reps Member, Hon. Eziuche Ubani extols Abia PDP Governorship Candidate, Sir Okey Ahiwe, describes him as a man of peace

Rt. Hon. Eziuche Ubani, a former member of House of Representatives, who represented Obingwa-Osisioma-Ugwunagbo Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives from 2007 to 2015, has described the governorship candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Chief Okey Ahiwe as a man of peace.

The veteran journalist and former commissioner for works in the first term of Governor Okezie Ikpeazu, spoke when Chief Ahiwe paid him a visit at his Aba residence, and congratulated the former Chief of Staff who emerged winner at the special governorship primary that was conducted by the PDP at the weekend.

“I know who you are. You are a man of peace. God, through you will strengthen the peace in our system. You and I are products of University of Lagos (Unilag), a lot of people do not know this about us. I will contribute ideas that are different that will make you standout. Congratulations.” Ubani said.

Chief Ahiwe said it was imperative he consulted with Ubani, whom he described as one of the national leaders of PDP and major stakeholder in the Abia state politics.

“You are one of the national leaders of our party in Abia, a major stakeholders in our state politics as well as Ukwa-Ngwa land. I have come to inform you developments in our state in the past few weeks and chart the way forward. I will come again and again because I need you as we go in this journey for the betterment of our dear state.”

Prince Christopher Enweremadu, commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, the PDP House of Assembly candidate for Isialangwa North, Chief Ugochukwu Iheonunekwu and Special Adviser on Media to Governor Ikpeazu, Enyinnaya Appolos, accompanied Chief Ahiwe on the visit.
