The Attorney General of the Federation (AGF) and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami, has said the federal government will not get involved with the ongoing trial of Ex-Deputy President of the Senate, Ike Ekweremadu who is currently facing trial over alleged organ harvest in the United Kingdom.
Malami said this while fielding questions from the State House reporters during the ministerial briefing which was organised by the Presidential Communications Team at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
“It has never been the tradition of Nigerian government to interfere with anything judicial, local or international. And that is the position of the government.” He said.
