The Director General of Abia State Orientation Agency (ABSOA) and the former Chief Press Secretary to the Governor of Abia State, Mr. Godwin Adindu temporarily went back to the classroom after so many years of abandoning the classroom as a Lecturer.
He didn’t visit any University Lecture theatre, neither is he an employee of any citadel of learning, yet he went to the classroom, but this time, he chose a different location, the cozy Addrex Hotel, Aba and picked an entirely new target audience – his orientation team, with the sole aim of creating a new Abia where everyone must be involved as to have the Abia of our dream.
Mr. Adindu’s first strategic section was to imbibe an innovation called DISRUPTIONS – a predication of when an entrant tackles incumbent competitive innovations head – on, offering a better service delivery and influencing the incumbent factors to accelerate their innovations and styles, pop up strategic choices for the benefit of all Abians.
The high points therefrom was the adoption of colours, logo and sound bite of the agency.
Mr. Adindu explained that the choice of the colours ( Green and Yellow) and the sound bite – LET’S GET INVOLVED, resonates the vision of the agency that will drive the brand. Adding that, to get Abia right is all about inclusiveness and the deepening of the involvement of all Abia residents in governance and decision making processes for the overall interest of the state.
Stressing that, the core mandate of ABSOA is to change the negative public perception of government activities and to influence positive attitude from the citizenry, while at the same time, interfacing with the leadership to draw the attention of government to the core needs of the citizens.
Mr. Godwin Adindu therefore enjoined all Abia resident to get involved in this project and promised that the only way that the Abia of our dream can be achieved is for everyone to come together while promising that Abia of our dream will become a reality and achievable under the Gov. Okezie Ikpeazu led administration.
