A former Special Adviser to Abia state Governor, and later, Deputy Transition Committee Chairman, Isiala Ngwa LGA, Chief Innocent C. Nwankwere, from Umuosu Umunna Nsulu, ward 2 has formally resigned his membership of the People’s Democratic Party ( PDP).
Speaking to www.newsmirrorng.com, by 6:30pm today on phone, Hon. Nwankwere thanked the PDP for giving him the platform to exercise his political rights but regretted that the once great party with directiom seem to have abandoned the ideals that made them unique therefore, opening up another window of opportunity to switch camp to achieve his desires for political inclusiveness of his people through capacity building, infrastructural development and empowerment of the indigent men and women.
Chief Nwankwere resigned alongside the PDP Youth Leader for Umunna Nsulu ward 2, Chief Chinedu Victor Onwumere.
Feelers from close associates says, Chief Nwankwere will pitch tent with the All Progressives Congress ( APC) but is yet to formally declare to his new party with his supporters.
