An Abia born -US based engineer, Engr. Cyril Ishmael receives recipients of Ishmael Ahukanna Scholarship Fund in his Obikabia country home.
On a post he made on his social media handle, he said “During my recent trip to Nigeria, I had the privilege of meeting the recipients of our 2024 Ishmael Ahukanna Scholarship fund. We supported 56 students in registering for WASSCE and NECO examinations by paying their registration fees.
Our scholarship program also provided small grants to two schools operating in Obikabia where most of the beneficiaries attend school. In addition, we gave each student a little cash token and copies of Dr. Charles Awusie’s Evolve Manual.
Empowering the future generation through education was indeed the highlight of my short visit to Nigeria as it brought me immense joy. We are very intentional about our charity investments”.
