The Abia State PDP Governorship Candidate in the 2023 general elections, Chief Okey Ahiwe, has congratulated His Royal Majesty, Eze Okezie Clement Nwokonko, Oha Bu Ike 1 of Ugaa Eziama Ntigha Autonomous Community, Isiala Ngwa North LGA, Abia State, on the historic events of his 66th birthday and 22nd coronation anniversaries.
Chief Ahiwe recalls that Eze O. C. Nwokonko who received his Staff of Office from former Governor Orji Uzor Kalu on July 19, 2001, has served commendably over the years as Vice Chairman, Isiala Ngwa North Traditional Rulers Council; Deputy Chairman, Oha Ngwa Traditional Rulers Council; Publicity Secretary, Abia Central Traditional Rulers Council as well as Secretary, Isiala Ngwa North Traditional Rulers Council, among other positions of service to his Community, Ngwa land and Abia State in general.
Describing the revered Traditional Ruler as a proud cultural ambassador of his Community, Chief Ahiwe said that the 22-year reign of Eze Nwokonko has been a golden era of peace and cultural restitution in his Community, during which the Monarch demonstrated his superlative strength as a tenacious gatekeeper of cultural values and a solid pillar of Igbo cultural renaissance.
Chief Ahiwe prayed that God would grant Eze O. C. Nwokonko many more years in robust health and deeper insights as a leader, role model and exemplary custodian of culture and tradition.
