The President and members of Ngwa Patriots Forum join all well- meaning Abians to felicitate with our brother and member , Dr OKEZIE IKPEAZU on the validation of his mandate by the Court of Appeal as the duly elected Governor of Abia State for a second term in office.
In a release signed by the President, Chief Uzoma Ihuka, General Secretary, Chief Chibuike Godwin Onyendilefu and Chief Ogechi Chile, Director of Publicity, the forum expressed her firm belief that with this decision of court, every peace loving Abia citizen will sheath their sword and embrace peace for the love and betterment our dear state by putting the interest of Abia first before every selfish and parochial interest.
The Forum also believes that the time has come for every Abian to embrace the new developmental trajectory of Abia state which calls for all hands to be on deck to continue to deepen the interest of the greater number of Abians above personal considerations.
The Forum further wishes to implore the Governor,Dr.Ikpeazu not to be distracted by the shenanigans of a few people intent on distracting him but to remain focussed on his unalloyed commitment to deliver to Abians the best democratic dividends while also not forgetting to continue to hold out the olive branch as he has always done for all, independent of political leaning to embrace his desire for participatory governance.
