The Bassa Local Government Chapter of the All Progressives Congress ( APC ) , has endorsed Gov Yahaya Bello for president come 2023.
The APC stakeholders endorsed Kogi State Governor during its grand finale rally for the forth coming LGA election at Gboloko on Thursday .
Speaking at the Palace of Etsu Bassa Nge , the Director General of the Campaign , Hon Yizogembi Abwa thanked the royal father for always blessing and supporting the candidates of the party in all previous elections and prayed for a successful outing come Saturday .
Member representing Bassa constituency in the state House of Assembly , who also doubles as the Chairman of the Campaign Council , Hon Rai Daniya also thanked the royal father and promised to ensure that government pay attention to all the demands of the royal father .
At the rally venue, Hon Rai Daniya tasked members of the APC and its stakeholders on the need for a massive turnout on the election day.
He also encouraged them to come out on Saturday , 12 th December , 2020 to elect APC candidates at all the wards and LGA .
The lawmaker went further and told Bassa LGA APC stakeholders to pray for Governor Yahaya Bello as he is prepared and willing to heed the call to contest for Presidency come 2023.
The APC stakeholders expressed joy on the message of the lawmaker and immediately responded by endorsing Governor Yahaya Bello for President come 2023.
The candidate of the party , Hon Muktar Shaibu prayed for peace to finally return to Bassa LGA and promised to do his best to ensure the council is back on track in terms of development and peaceful coexistence .
