Outrage and anger have greeted the actions of three teenage boys on Saturday caught burning the head of a girl said to be in a relationship with one of them for money ritual in Oke Aregba area of Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital.
Many Nigerians on social media described the gruesome actions of the teenagers as “despicable and callous”.
Some others lamented the scourge of ritual killings especially being perpetrated by youths who are carried away by the get-rich-quick syndrome.
The Nation learnt that Ogun State Police Command arrested the three teenagers in the early hours of Saturday following the tip-off by one Segun Adewusi, who is the community security guard.
The teenagers, 17-year-old Wariz Oladehinde; 19-year-old Abdulgafar Lukman, and Mustakeem Balogun, 20 respectively, strangled the girl simply identified as Rofiat.
