Sunday, 24 September 2023 will remain memorable to residents of Aba and visitors alike , as the Enyimba City, commercial nerve centre and SME capital of Nigeria stood still for several hours as popular Igbo son and a philanthropist of note, Mr. Okoh Emmanuel Onyeka aka Okwuluora Ndi Igbo embarked in a huge empowerment programme.
The event which was organized at the cozy Eldorado Event Center attracted creme de la cremer of the society too numerous to mention and a Mammoth crowd who were all delighted with the magnanimity of the philanthropist.
Highlight of the programme was giving out of over 13 sewing machines, splashing of over 5 million naira and scholarship to a brilliant young lady from Ignatius Ajuru University of Education, Rivers State.
Okwuluora Ndigbo, showcased his brilliance and knowledge of the world by throwing questions to the selected people that answered his quiz section. Each winner went home with a sum of two hundred thousand naira.
Recall that in Saturday,Okwuluora liberated Mrs Charity China Kalu a member of late Bro Okwey and The Master’s Servant Gospel Music fame that reigned in the 80s and early 90s by touching her life to become an instant millionaire
The side attraction during the event includes but not limited to ” Live performance by veteran Gospel musician Mrs Blessing Anyanele also High Life performance led by Joe Nez (Jnr).
Recall that his late Father, Joe Nez who hails from Umuajaka, Ulakwo in Owerri North LGA, Imo State died on November 13, 1982 at the age 61.
The late music legend released many hit songs like Business Trip, My Landlady and Baby Nwam Nosike.
