The Department of State Services (DSS) says its operatives have arrested some suspects behind the diversion of palliatives meant for “vulnerable” citizens in Nasarawa State, TheCable reports.
The service said the suspects were arrested in various parts of the state for selling the palliatives.
In a statement issued by its Spokesperson, Dr. Peter Afunanya, on Tuesday, said the arrested suspects include some officials of the Nasarawa State Emergency Management Agency (NASEMA).
The statement indicated that the suspects were caught reselling the palliatives to unsuspecting members of the public for their pecuniary interest.
