Chief Dr. Dimgba Eruba,the Abia Representative on the Board of NDDC assumes office amidst jubilation.
This was made known to the press in a release by his Chief of Staff, Ubani Ogbonna on Friday, November 9th, 2023.
In his usual character of being punctual to duty, the Abia NDDC Commissioner arrived the State Office with the company of his Aides and the Staff of NDDC at about 8 am.
While addressing the workers during the hand over exercise, Chief Eruba reminded them on the need to be dedicated and committed to duty as that will be the Hallmark of his administration, adding he is on the board to work and to uphold the standard provided by the act of the Commission.
He further encouraged the staff to eschew truant activities and appreciated them for the warm reception organised in his favour
The first official function was the handover to the next bureaucratic order in service to Mr Azubuike Nwaubani as the acting Director of the Abia State Project Office Oke-Ikpe, Ukwa West LGA.
In her reaction, the Deputy Director, Dr Nkeiruka Kalu, thanked Mr President Chief Bola Ahmed Tinubu for choosing thier own,Chief Eruba Dimgba on the 8th governing board of NDDC.
Engr Kingsley Azu also commended the president of Nigeria for a choice well made and assured the Commissioner that the staff will continue to be law abiding to actualize the objective of the commission where he referenced the role of Elijah and Elisha in handing over the Battern of leadership.
The Commissioner used the opportunity and announced that the commission has awarded the deplorable Owaza – Okohia -Uzuaku- Imo River Road and Uzuaku – Umuelechi-Umuajoha-144 Battalion Road, and assured that that the construction of those roads will commence shortly
The event recorded the presents of two deputy directors,Dr Nkeiruka Kalu,Engr Kingsley Azu, Engr Joy Eugene,Engr Okoroafor Kingsley,all the staff at the state office and Commissioner’s Aides.
