A Federal Capital Territory High Court has dismissed the case against former governor of Imo State, Senator Rochas Okorocha by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

The Court discharged all allegations of corruption filed against him when he was Imo Governor between 2007 and 2011 by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

The presiding judge, Justice Yusuf Halilu, said the action of the anti-graft agency was a gross abuse of the judicial process.

While delivering judgment in the suit filed by the EFCC against the former Governor, Justice Halilu said the EFCC should be seen to be a respecter of the law that created it.
