An Abia State APC chieftain ,Hon. Chief Ifeanyi Collins Eke has express deep sadness following the sudden demise of Dr. Ogbonnaya Onu,the first civilian Governor of Abia State,whose news of his sudden death was made public on Thursday the 11th of April 2024.
Chief Ifeanyi Collins Eke described late Dr Ogbonnaya Onu as a man of proven an extraordinary Integrity who served Abia and Nigeria without any blemish or error attached to his name. He described him as an advocate of equity, fairness and togetherness.
Chief Collins Eke said that the late Onu was a true definition of a nationalist who stood strong against all odd for the unity of the country. In a message of condolence made available to newsmen in Abuja, Chief Ifeanyi took a deep reflection into the qualities of the late former minister and executive Governor of Abia State, describing his type as rare and irreplaceable.
He prayed for God to grant the family and the people of Ebonyi State,and indeed the entire Nation the fortitude to bear such and irreplaceable loss,and God to grant the department soul eternal rest.
