Abia 2023: Women Group Lauds Outstanding Leadership Qualities of Chief Okey Ahiwe, Declares Their Support

The leadership of Local Government Ladies Association (LOGLA) today paid a solidarity visit on Lady Nnenna Elizabeth Okey Ahiwe in their Umuire Eziama Ntigha Isiala Ngwa North country home and lauded the outstanding qualities of Chief Ahiwe.

Speaking for the delegation, the State President of LOGLA Mrs Irene Ekwu, noted that the candidature of Chief Okechukwu Ambrose Ahiwe was divine, that he stands tall amongst his contemporaries; added that their decision was borne out of love and passion for good governance.

She reassured her of their total support and their members zeal in making sure Chief Ahiwe emerges victorious and appreciated Lady Ahiwe for her input.

Contributing the Chairman of Local Government Service Commission, Elder Victor Azumara and Head of Personnel Lady Ngozi Nwaobiara, expressed satisfaction and trust over the performance of Chief Okey Ahiwe as Chief of Staff to the Governor saying that he has carved a niche for himself while affirming their support.

Responding the Wife of the Governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party in Abia State Lady Nnenna Elizabeth Ahiwe, expressed joy and happiness over the visit which she described as timely, noting that only God gives victory.

She thanked them for the trust reposed on Chief Ahiwe, lauded their zeal and readiness to partner them for the victory at the forthcoming polls.

In her vote of thanks, the Head of Service of Isiala Ngwa North LGA, Mrs Chioma Alaribe, thanked Lady Ahiwe for finding time to interact with them and her promise to work for the growth and benefit of the work force; prayed to God to grant Chief Ahiwe a resounding victory.

The visit attracted the presence of the Immediate Past Deputy Chairman of Aba North Mrs Joy Iwuchukwu, State NULGE President Mr Ikechi Nwigwe and other notable personalities.
