Speaking at the Osisioma Ngwa LGA PDP women rally organized by the PDP Women Campaign Council yesterday at the Osisioma Gardens beside Okezuo Abia Flyover, the wife of the Governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party in the forthcoming general elections Lady Nnenna Elizabeth Okey Ahiwe charged women of Osisioma LGA to remain resolute in their support for the Peoples Democratic Party.
Lady Ahiwe who expressed satisfaction with the massive support from the people of the LGA, called on them to consolidate on the gains of this present administration, while promising an all inclusive government. She stated that Osisioma Ngwa has been an LGA whose support for PDP has remained strong; charged them to canvas support for Chief Ahiwe and all other candidates of the Party.
Also Speaking the Wife of the Governor Deaconess Nkechi Caroline Ikpeazu, PhD appreciated the women for coming out en masse to show solidarity and support for the ruling party PDP, adding that Chief Ahiwe candidature was divine. She noted that Osisioma Ngwa LGA has benefited fully in the present administration of Governor Ikpeazu, charged them to galvanize support for all Candidates of the party.
Contributing the Coordinator PDP Women Campaign Council, Dr. Mrs. Elizabeth Esochagh, called on women to seize every opportunity to preach the gospel of PDP promising that Chief Ahiwe will serve the State meritoriously. She called for every woman in the LGA to vote for PDP.
In their separate speeches, Chief Mrs Ukachi Amala, Mrs. Louis Chinwe Nwanganga among others, appreciated the PDP led administration for constantly empowering the people of the LGA, adding that the decision of Party to zone power to Isiala Ngwa North, part of the Abia Central was truly a course every well meaning Abian should key into and deliver Chief Ahiwe.
In his Vote of thanks, Hon Uche Jumbo Deputy TC Chairman of the LGA, thanked Deaconess Ikpeazu, Lady Ahiwe and their team for visiting the LGA while promising total victory for the party.
Highpoint was a prayer by the Elderly women of Osisioma and donation of bags of rice and other materials.
Members of the Women Campaign Council, Female Stakeholders and other top functionaries were present during the rally.
