2023: Omerekpe Visits Ikwuano, Promises to Link Ikwuano to other Communities in Isiala Ngwa North

A leading Governorship hopeful in Abia State, under the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, Chief Ncheta Omerekpe has assured the people of Ikwuano of empowernment and massive infrastructural development if elected as the next Governor of the State. He therefore pleaded with them to vote for him during the party primary election to emerge as the party flag bearer.

These he stated on Saturday, May 7th, 2022, when his consultation train, touched Ikwuano LGA, Abia State.

Addressing stakeholders and thereafter, the delegates in Ikwuano, Chief Omerepke, said Ikwuano is like a home to him by virtue of his relationship and closeness of the area to Isiala Ngwa North. He stated that he is not an emergency politician who started philanthropy for the purpose of winning election but has been into philanthropy for over 17 years.

The ” Offor Ndi Igbo ” as he is popularly called by his admirers revealed that these past years, he has been involved in developing and linking communities using his Local, International contacts and personal resources which runs into billions, adding that he is fast linking Isiala Ngwa North to Ikwuano which even those that have been in Government failed to do.

He hinted that work will soon resume on the remaining portion of the road, as it will be asphalted to guarantee free flow of movement while appealing to Ndi Ikwuano to vote for him as he is eminently qualified to carry the flag of the party come 2023.

Chief Omerepke, promised to prioritize Ikwuano if elected while promising to attract federal presence with his contact which will permanently take care of the many years experienced neglect suffered by Umuahia/Ikot Ekpene road just as he pledged to develop an agricultural hub in Ikwuano and encourage cocoa farming in the area.

The business mogul, assured Ndi Ikwuano that their votes will be adorned, promising them of attending to their needs if he emerges as the next Governor of the State.

In their separate speeches, Rear Admiral Osondu (Rtd) and Chief Stanley Ejigbo, who spoke on behalf of the stakeholders and Hon. Christmas Nkume for the Delegates, appreciated Chief Ncheta Omerepke for finding time to consult them and communicate his ambition to them.

They lauded him for the various philanthropic gestures he had embarked in the past, aimed at changing the fortunes of the people and reeling out what he will do for Abia if he becomes the next Governor.

They stated that a man with such pedigree, no doubt, has all it takes to govern the state if given the opportunity while urging him to seek the face of God for guidance while admonishing him not to neglect Ikwuano if he emerges victorious.

Stakeholders from the area, tropped out en-masse to welcome the governorship hopeful who is in pole position to clinch the PDP sole ticket.

Among the Stateholders and delegates present were, Admiral Ralph Osondu(Rtd), Hon Stephen Mpamugo, PDP Chairman; Hon Obioma Igwe,Hon. Chief Mrs. Ngozi Orji, Hon. Wisdom Ogbonna, Hon Stanley Nwabuisi (Member representing Ikwuano State Constituency), Hon Chukwuemeka Osoagbaka, Pastor Ekeleme Ikije, Chief Chukwuemeka and Uche Usuwa, Hon Cokey Nwachukwu, Chief Christmas Nkume, Uche Okeugo, among others.
