As the Edo State Governor election draws closers, controversial Lagos clergyman and General Overseer Of Zionwealth Church, Lekki, Chris Omashola has insisted candidate of the People Democratic Party (PDP) and current Governor, Godwin Obaseki will win the election.

The cleric equally chided the chieftain of All Progressives Congress (APC) Adams Oshiomhole and the candidate of the APC, Osagie Ize-Iyamu, even as he called for an end to godfathers in the politics of the state.

Endorsing Obaseki publicly, on his verified twitter account @ApostleOmashola, said: ”God is setting Edo State free from the demonic and oppressive strongholds of principalities and powers that be, through the human instrumentality of Governor Godwin Obaseki”.

The clergyman added that Oshiomhole knew Ize -yamu remained a poisoned meal to the Edo people.

He added the Oshiomhole was not under any influence when he described the character of the APC candidate.
“If I were Adams Oshiomhole , I would stand by my truth, regardless of the direction of the wave; that’s called Integrity. I am maternally an Edo Man and would not wish my people the poisoned cake. I Don’t have a problem with APC but Ize-iyamu is a no no”

Omashola, a popular Nigerian Clergyman, Philanthropist, Businessman and a sociopolitical evangelist, often described as ”The Fearless General”, has been involved in many social media controversies, for fearlessly speaking truth to power, society and constituted authorities in the fierce face of opposition.

The popular cases of Naira Marley, Bobrisky, and his fearless message to President Buhari, on behalf of hungry incapacitated Nigerians at the peak of the COVID 19 lockdown measures, are just to mention a few.

Mr. Omashola is an astute Businessman, said to be the Chairman of Zionwealth Group; CEO of ACO Media; a PR Consultant at Krystal Properties, Lekki; Zionwealth Oil and Gas; Kevwe Auto Ltd, and many more.
