The crisis rocking the Young Preogessives Party( YPP) in Abia has taken a fresh twist as the Acting state Chairman, Comrade Uzodinma Nwoko has described as fallacious and a huge joke, the press release credited to the State Publicity Secretary of YPP, Hon. Bestman Eruba as he was described as an ” Imposter’ and not a member of the state working committee of the party and therefore, not eligible to talk on behalf of the YPP SWC
In a press release made available to www.newsmirtirng.com, Comrade Nwoko said, the fallacious press release by Hon. Eruba Bestman, concerning him, that Comr. Uzodinma E Nwoko had a few months ago resigned as State Secretary was not addressed to the state working committee, nor the state executive committee of our party, these act by him is a calculated plan with the said former State Chairman Uluocha Nelcinn Chimezuo to destroy our great party YPP, Abia State Chapter but their dubious game has failed, he said.
” Moreover, Hon. Eruba Bestman Esq should note that he is never an elected executive committee member of the YPP Abia State Chapter. He was imposed by the former State Chairman Uluocha Nelcinn Chimezuo. We, as party executives, filled with the good spirit of sportsmanship accommodated him all these while” .
” Therefore, his absence in the party executive meeting yesterday at the party secretariat has shown his alliance still with former State Chairman who invited him in meeting at roots restaurant”.
” To all our esteemed YPP faithfuls, stakeholders, supporters, and the general public should disregard any publications coming the said press release by Hon. Eruba BestMan Esq, as he is on his own”, the statement said,
” The SWC and all other executives’ arms both at the State, LGA, and Ward level will continue to serve and discharge her constitutional obligations, protect and defend the integrity and image of our great party”, the release added.
