The incident happened yesterday; the lady was intercepted by a security group, Nchia security council, headed by Comr. Abel Oluka, and other teeming youths of Agbonchia community.
The woman, a native of Akwa Ibom, while her husband, is a native of Agbonchia community in Eleme LGA, Rivers State.
The said lady accused her husband of not giving her money from the community #15,000 that was shared between them and their children from the host community dividends.
The woman who is a mother of two girls, poured acid on the face of her husband, took his ATM card and in her plans to escape she was caught, according to report received by Rivers Mirror; she was seen hiding inside her rooftop ceiling.
The case has been handed over to Eleme Police Command for further investigations while the man is going through some medical attention.
