Nigerian President, Bola Tinubu has conferred on every member of the Super Eagles national football team with the national honour of Member of the Order of the Niger (MON).
In further recognition of their achievement, the federal government, represented by the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT),
Each members of the team was also granted a plot of land as well as a flat with the location yet to be announced.
The honour was in recognition of their impressive performance and feat achieved at the just concluded African Cup of Nations at Cote D’Ivoire.
President Bola Tinubu announced the honour when he hosted the members of Nigeria’s national football team, the Super Eagles, at the Council Chambers of the State House.
