The Uwaoma family of Umuohia Village, Ndiolumbe Nvosi, Isialangwa South LGA, Abia State mourns the demise of our great Patriarch, Chief Michael Omenazu Uwaoma (Ururuaja, Okwu ana aso Anya, Adighi nma nwata, Aka ekpuchighi Onwa, Dike Ogu, Nkuma igwe)who passed away peacefully on Friday 21st July 2023 after a protracted illness.
Until his death, Chief Michael Uwaoma was a great leader of thought, an astute politician, a renowned businessman, a devout christian and a father to all.
– He was a former Chairman, Nvosi Council of Chiefs!
-Chairman of the defunct Social Democratic Party (SDP) Ward 5;
Chairman of the defunct NCPN ward 5
Publicity Secretary the defunct Nigerian People’s Party NPP ward 5
-Pastor’s Warden, St Michael’s Anglican Church Amaede/Umuohia;
-Member, Eze’s Cabinet of HRM Eze (Dr) S. E. Nwakwue (Eze Chimere 2 of Osokwa Nvosi)
Among other leadership positions at various levels.
