Today, 25/09/2022, The Supreme Council of Ukwa Ngwa Youths the apex youth organisation of Ukwa Ngwa land (Old Aba zone ) of Abia State
led by The Acting President
Comrade Chetachi Ahukanna , The Executive Members representing the nine Local Government Areas of Ukwa Ngwa, The Board of Trustees and some selected members of The Council stormed the Nsulu country home of the Abia State Gubernatorial Flag Bearer of the People’s Democratic Party, Prof. E.U. Ikonne to make known, their adoption of his candidacy and further protracted support for him in the coming days as campaign will start in earnest.
As overwhelming as the visit, the elated erudite prof. Welcomed their move of identification, support and cheering force.
Their mind blowing personalities, composure and projection of interest gained a more connectivity as the governor in view stated that the youth council has been recognized in his campaign council.
This move by the supreme council is as a result of Prof. Ikonne being the best among his opponents in quality, qualification, administrative ability, leadership charisma and pragmatism, democracy inclination, policy orientation, wealth creation and growth stability, having led the two state academic institutions with best in record.
Also, for a continued peaceful Abia, it is binding to our equity formula that Old Aba zone produces a central leader who would be the best for Abia this season and time.
Notably, a distinguished creme of personalities under the auspices of Association of Ngwa Lawyers was present at the ceremony.
