Senator Nkechi Nwaogu has made a clarion for the three tiers of government to utilize the God given talents of women by electing and appointing them in positions of trust.
She stated this while featuring on AriseTV Newsday at 1pm on Sunday 25th June, 2023. She said the female gender are blessed with potentials to compete favorably with their male counterparts and solicited for meritocracy to take precedence above gender related issues.
Nwaogu said that she is confident in President Bola Tinubu to actualize his campaign promises made to Nigerians which 30% affirmative for women is an integral part of.
When asked about Abia State, she said that it is too early to access a government which is not up to a month but she was confident that the new government will definitely entrench women adequately.
