The Christain Royal Father’s Association led by HRH Eze Nnamdi Ofoegbu today paid a courtesy visit to the Honorable Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs Sir Gabriel C. Onyendilefu in his office at Umuahia Abia State.
Eze Nnamdi, speaking on behalf of his colleagues, said their courtesy visit is premised on 3 reasons: to felicitate with the newly appointed Commissioner, to present him with the Royal Excellent Award and finally to discuss issues affecting their Association
While congratulating Sir Gabriel , the Eze acknowledged that the Governor wouldn’t have made a better choice. According to him, Chief Onyendilefu’s forthrightness as the immediate past Accountant General of the state speaks volumes of his credibility . He therefore prayed that God will bless his tenure as Honourable Commissioner For Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs.
In his response, Sir G. C. Onyendilefu thanked the Royal Father’s for their visit as well as the special award . He also acknowledged that their visit is the first formal visit by the Royal Father’s . He therefore enjoined them to continue to pray for him so that the Lord will help him to succeed as succeeded during his eight years as Accountant General of Abia State.
