Controversy has continued to trail the recent appointment of Hon Chimezie Nelcinn Uluocha as SA to Umuahia North TC Chairman on Revenue and Policy formulation.

The development led to the party in the state to issue a statement, by it’s state Publicity Secretary, Bestman Eruba, frowning at the strange development, stressing that Abia state YPP has no agreement with Labour Party in the state and that the party is not aware of the appointment of the State Chairman of YPP by the Labour Party, saying, the State Working Committee of YPP will look into the recent development surrounding Hon. Chimezie Nelcinn Uluocha and come out with appropriate response.

Meanwhile, Hon. Nelcinn Uluocha has also opened some can of worms on the state of affairs of YPP in Abia during a phone conversation with www.newsmirrorng.com correspondent.

Mr. Uluocha said his office has not and is not funded even during elections by the party gubernatorial Candidate, Engr. Enyinnaya Nwafor but that he never complained because, he has all it takes to fund the party based on his background and his belief it is a service for his party and the state but says, even at that, he ought to be appreciated and encouraged.

Hon. Uluocha denied the news making the rounds that he said his party is dubious and fraudulent, insisiting there is no time he made such accusations but maintained that he is still the YPP State Party Chairman in Abia.

Mr Uluocha admonished journalists in the state to verify information before publishing it, accusing some journalists in Abia state of distorting the facts.

Hon. Nelcinn Uluocha told our reporter that he is a citizen of Abia state and from Umuahia North and will serve his Local Government or state if called to do so, irrespective of party affiliation.

According to him, “there is nothing that is required of me as the state Chairman that i can’t do or afford, and there is no point to tackle our gubernatorial candidate, Engr. Enyinnaya Nwafor who he said worked assiduously for the party, that later came third despite the short time of the party formation.

The State YPP Chairman described his appointment as well deserving because he has the prerequisites to harness the internally generated revenue of Umuahia North. He said that he doesn’t have any other state except Abia state and as well does not have any other Local Government area other than Umuahia North and going by that, he can’t reject any opportunity to add his own quota in the development of his Local Government and the state.
