One of the factor that cause the problem we are facing in Nigeria is inability to differentiate clearly, the different between Need and Want.
NEED: This is what nature required in life as for someone to live a comfortable lifestyle. Need is a must in every life, because it’s require to survive from every situation and it’s a tools use to conquer challenges.
WANT: This is the act of having interest in a particular thing, Want is not that compulsory for every being because if it is not acquired it have no negative effect to someone life.
Nigerians buy what they don’t need with the money they don’t have, it is so sardonic seeing our people demanding for want instead of need. Nigerians are busy using there resources to get what they need all in the name of _I must also rock the town_, Instead of us to think about need we continue to focus on what we want maybe because we deem it fit to oppress some people or we want to outshine them. Often, we use our resources to get what we want and if a need later showcase we will be running helter-skelter to get the basic need.
As a nigerian the three basic needs is *Food, Cloth and shelter*. Education (formal or informal) and Healthcare as also welcome into our basic need due to civilization. So, as a citizen of this country our primary agendum must be the above mentioned Any thought after this is a secondary thought, any citizen who fails to take it as his/her primary agendum should be ready to bear alone the detrimental his/her future brings.
Let all focus on our basic need and never contend our needs with someone else need because at times someone Need may not be our own need, let sit down and think about the next thing in our own life.
