Following sad incident that occurred in Nollywood last week, the Executive Governor of Abia State Dr Alex Otti sent his heart felt condolence to the families of Abia State Indigines and others who were involved in the boat misshap that happened in Asaba.
According to the Chief of Staff to the Governor, Pastor Caleb Ajagba(PhD), who confirmed that the Governor has released some money to enable the proper traditional rituals for the Abia state born creatives Mr Friday Okoroafor from Abam and Mr Joseph Anointing from Isialangwa for their bodies to be exhumed and brought back to their mother land.
The Abia State Government also appointed Mrs Joyce Kalu a foremost Abia born Nollywood super star who has been on the case of these young Nollywood crew members to get a beffiting burial to lead the delegation and ensure that their body be exhumed and conveyed to Abia State via Ambulances made Available by the Abia State Government
The corpse will be exhumed on Thursday 18th April 2024.
