The member representing Ikwuano/Umuahia in the House of Representatives Chief Obi Aguocha has released his achievements so far in office and has also reaffirmed his commitment in ensuring that his constituents are given quality representation. PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT
1.) The Liason Office of Rt Hon, Obi Aguocha, the member representing: Ikwuano, Umuahia North, and Umuahia South Federal Constituency, wishes to announce the fulifilment of its campaign promises to its constituents.
2.) May it please the general public to note the disbursement of educational grants and assistance to those who have qualified through the thirty-two (32) wards in the constituency ranging from primary to tertiary education. In all, over 200 qualified candidates across the three local government areas have received their awards, respectively.
3.) The Liason office expresses our gratitude to all qualified applicants for their patience throughout the verification process and encourages the few who have not received their grants to contact the liaison office at Nos.13 Uwalaka Street Umuahia, for clarification and fund disbursement.
4.) Also, the Liason office is happy to announce the commencement of Eye Medical Outreach across the nine (9) indigenous clans, plus urban (Umuahia North: Ohuhu and Ibeku), (Umuahia South: Ubakala, Olokoro, and Umuokpara) and (Ikwuano: Oboro, Ibere, Oloko and Ariam Usake), plus Urban. Dates and venues will soon be communicated to the general public.
Additionally, we will soon commence the verification of applications into our Youth and Women empowerment programs in aid of their SME business startups.
5.) Be further assured that capital projects across the constituency will commence shortly. These projects will cut across the three (3) local government areas and positively impact the lives of our constitients whilst complementing the effort and projects of our amazing and dynamic governor, HE. Dr Alex Chioma Otti.
6.) The Liason Office wishes to urge our constituents to remain focused, law abiding, and supporting the Labour Party government as we solidly move our State along the journey of transformation, development and restoration of our values and governance structures in making Abia whole and great again..
