A reliable source close the the former Speaker, told www.newsmirrorng.com that his Boss, Rt. Hon. Chinedum Orji had already met with the APC ward Chairman in this ward for registration and party card issuance
Our source also hinted that, most Abia PDP Chieftains, are all planning to dump that People’s Democratic Party ( PDP), soon and in a grand reception in Umuahia that will attract some Governors of the party, Ministers, and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
The Abia state chapter of People’s Democratic Party ( PDP) has been having an internal festering sour due to mostly selfish pursuit of party tickets for various positions, a problem they could not solve before the general elections, that led to their losing the state after being in power for 24 years uninterrupted, and losing various other elective position, that has widened the gulf in the party which has thus resulted to mass defection to APC
The APC push to have an inroad into the South East, ahead of the 2027 general elections is fast and yielding positive results for APC in States like Abia, Ebonyi, Anambra and Imo, except Enugu that has remained a PDP state.
