In line with the developmental strides of the pragmatic Governor of Delta State Rt. Hon. Sheriff Francis Orohwedor Oborevwori, Special Assistant to the Governor of Delta state on Youth Development, Chief Ejiro Okoro from Jesse (Ward 6) in Idjerhe Kingdom,Ethiope West, has liaised with a communication company to get mobile communication network to rural areas across southern regions and most importantly Delta State where mobile communication networks are not available or underserved .
As communication has become a vital part of our daily lives in this 24th century for Educational Purposes, Online Instructors, Online Meetings, FX trading, Eradication of Crime, Security Services, Visual Court Proceedings and Many more.
Interacting with newsmen, Chief Ejiro Okoro has this to say
“This is part of my support for the youths on the M.O.R.E Agenda of the Executive Governor of Delta State, Rt Hon.Sheriff Oborevwori.
This telecommunications solution is an initiative of the Special Assistant to the Executive Governor, Chief Ejiro Okoro on Youth Development.
This Innovation can work in any part of Delta State including all our riverine villages and any part of the Southern Regions(SS,SW,SE).
Communities or states who are interested in this telecommunication solution can indicate interest for a site survey and possibly considered for the rural telephony service after a successful sites survey.
