All started with the video that shows a group of American doctors calling themselves “America’s Frontline Doctors” explaining in a press conference on COVID-19 outside the Supreme Court of the United States, among other things, that masks are not necessary and that hydroxychloroquine treats the coronavirus
Dr. Simone Gold, one of the pro-hydroxychloroquine doctor as a cure of coronavirus has been fired from her hospital after their video went viral on social media.
She announce that on her twitter account, @drsimonegold. She said that after their press conference, she was defamed by the media, censored by social media companies, terminated from employment, and viciously attacked, all for advocating for the right of physicians to prescribe what they believe is best for their patients.
She added that their group, America’s Frontline Doctors, need the public’s support to grow their organization of physicians so that they can make an impactful statement and advocate for solutions that both protect the rights of Americans, while also dealing with the current COVID-19 pandemic.
A top official in the Trump administration’s Covid-19 response effort said on Sunday there is no evidence that hydroxychloroquine is an effective treatment for the virus, despite President Donald Trump’s continued promotion of the anti-malaria drug.
Trevor Noah and The Daily Show which often tackle the biggest stories in news, politics and pop culture has also criticized what one of the doctor said about the cure for he coronavirus saying she is a crazy doctor, showing an other video of Dr. Stella Immanuel talking about evil spirit, saying that demons are sleeping with people.
