TRIBUTE TO MY DEAR BOSS, SIR, BARRISTER FN NWOSU AS WE BID HIM FAREWELL ON JUNE 2ND, 2023.
Leader, It’s sadly disturbing to me that I am writing this tribute at this time over your painful and unexpected exit to the great unknown.
Dear Boss, it’s quite appalling & pathetic to me that you are no more having shared alot of beautiful moments and bad time with you for the past 10yrs I came in contact with you.
You were a national figure and a celebral lawyer who was known as a dogged fighter and advocate of good governance. A man who never succumbed to pressure even when you had nothing, you never compromised rather you stood firmly and ensured that the right thing was done no matter whose ox is gored. A man who never exchanged his birth right with billions even when it was glaring to all and Sundry yet you maintained the existence of your name which is “Money is not a determinant of everything”(IKEGHIEBEGHI).
Succinctly put, as a legal luminary and a disciplinarian you were, i learnt alot of positive and negative things from you which will always be one of my guiding tools throughout my existence on earth.
My Leader, it’s obvious and highly worrisome that death has disconnected the relationship I built with you for long, but I take solace in the fact that you lived a fulfilled life and also bequeathed an indelible imprint which will stand the test of time. I am very sure that history and posterity will treat you fairly.
My earnest prayer is that God will grant your soul peaceful repose in his bossom till the resurrection morning when we shall meet to part no more, amen.
